"Beyond The Laces" Bob Salomon and Rick Young, authors of Beyond The Laces, provide a multi-discipline presentation to assemblies at both public and private schools. They touch upon core values of character building from the key themes of their book, especially kindness and perseverance. The former ties in with education’s anti-bullying campaigns. They also relate their own experiences in the writing process itself,
encouraging students to pursue increasing their own writing skills.
